Fat Flush & Detox Salad

Don’t let the name fool you. This Fat Flush & Detox Salad is as delicious as it is good for you.  Make sure not to skimp on the walnuts or sesame seeds. Along with all their vitamins and nutrients, they give this salad a meaty texture and extra crunch!

Ingredients
For the Salad:
  • 2 cups diced cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cups lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 avocados, diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 cup toasted walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
For the Dressing:
  • 2 teaspoons gluten-free mustard
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup grapeseed oil
  • 1 teaspoon liquid stevia
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Directions

In a blender, blend all the dressing ingredients until well blended; set aside.

In a salad bowl, mix broccoli, cabbage, kale, carrots, and bell pepper; pour the dressing over the salad and toss until well coated.

Add diced avocado, parsley, walnuts, and sesame seed; toss again to coat and serve the Don’t let the name fool you. This Fat Flush & Detox Salad.
